Yes, incorrect doses added by the ICA can be deleted by the users. To delete an incorrect dose follow the steps below:

  • Open the Green Pass on Alhosn.
  • Tap on the question mark below the QR code in the " For medical use only " section.
  • Tap on the vaccine dose you want to remove and select " Remove ".

The process is the same for both residents and visitors with abroad vaccination certificates.

You need to upload the vaccine certificate obtained in another country to Alhosn app by following the steps below: 

1. Before departure, visitors need to register in the ""register arrivals"" section of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP) app. 


2. Complete the register arrivals form and upload an international vaccination certificate. Visitors will receive a text message that includes a link to download Alhosn app. 


3. On arrival in Abu Dhabi, visitors will receive a unified identification number (UID) either at the airport or through the ICP app or website. 


4. Visitors will need to download and register on Alhosn app, using the UID and phone number used for ICP registration or when taking a PCR test in the UAE. 

Contact the center where you received the vaccination and ask them to update your information and resend the updated information to the Alhosn app. Delete the app and reinstall it after the center updates your information.

Follow the steps below to export vaccination certificate on Alhosn:

  • Open your Green Pass.
  • Tap the three dots on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  • Select vaccination report and you will get an option to share the certificate to a number of channels, such as to email or Google drive.

This certificate features the logos of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Department of Health and Dubai Health Authority and a QR code. 

Unvaccinated individuals require a negative PCR test result every 48 hours to get their green status.

If you are a UAE citizen or resident in the emirate of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain or Ras Al Khaimah, you can submit an exemption from the vaccine through the Ministry of Health and Prevention. 

In Abu Dhabi, you can apply for an exemption certificate by visiting a medical center. The center will submit a report to the Abu Dhabi Department of Health for approval. You will receive a text message about whether your application has been approved. 

In Dubai, contact the Dubai Health Authority through the toll-free number 800342 to find out how to apply for a vaccination exemption certificate.

Contact the health authority based on the emirate in which you applied for the exemption and ask them to send the exemption report to the Alhosn app, after that uninstall and reinstall the app. Make sure to use the latest update of the Alhosn application.

To use the Travel Pass you need to have taken at least 1 shot of covid-19 vaccine in the UAE.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals:  

Get “Travel Pass-Test Result” when they have a negative PCR test result valid for 96 hours. 

Individuals fully vaccinated with a booster dose after completing 6 months of the second dose:  

Get “Travel Pass – Vaccination” if no more than 365 days have passed since the last dose of vaccination. 

UAE Nationals who are not fully vaccinated:  

Get “Travel Pass – Vaccination" after applying for a disclaimer on the Alhosn app. 

Follow these steps to share your Travel Pass on the Alhosn app:

  • Swipe right until you have swiped all the existing passes
  • Select “Download PDF”
  • You can now share your travel pass through many channels

Yes, a green status on the Green Pass is mandatory to enter public places in Abu Dhabi.

The green status indicates that the user has a valid negative PCR test result.

The grey status indicates that the user's PCR test validity has expired.
 

The red status indicates that the user has tested positive for covid-19. 
 

Contact the center where you received the vaccination and ask them to update your information and resend the correct information to the Alhosn app. Delete and reinstall the app after the center updates the information.

The crossed-out syringe icon means that the person with the icon has a medical exemption.

Contact the centre where you took the PCR test and ask them to update your information and resend the updated information to the Alhosn app to correct the problem. Delete the app and reinstall it after the centre updates your information. 

You can upload the result of a PCR test that was taken outside the UAE on the Alhosn application through the website of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Border Security (ICP). 

The validity of a PCR test result for a fully vaccinated individual, with a booster dose six months after the second dose is 30 days.

The validity period of a PCR test result for partially vaccinated individuals is 7 days.

The validity period of a PCR test result for unvaccinated individuals is 7 days.

Individuals who tested positive will get green status automatically on the Day 6. The green status will remain valid for 30 days. 

Validity period of a PCR test result for medically exempted individuals is 30 days.

Validity period of a PCR test result for individuals receiving Evusheld treatment is 7 days. 

Please get in touch with the ICP through their smart services portal to enquire about the pending approval.
 

Follow the steps below to upload your vaccination certificates that were taken outside the UAE on the Alhosn app: 

  • Register in the "Register Arrivals" section of the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security application (ICP)
  • Complete the check-in form and upload your International Vaccination Certificate
  • You will receive a text message containing a link to download the Al Hosn app

Follow the steps below to add your vaccination certificate to your Apple Wallet on the Alhosn app: 

  • Swipe right until you have swiped all the existing passes
  • Select Add Travel Pass - Vaccination
  • Click on the Apple Wallet icon at the bottom of the screen

Fully vaccinated individuals, with a booster dose after 6 months from taking the second dose, can get the green pass by taking a PCR test every 30 days, with a negative result. 

Partially vaccinated individuals can get the green pass by taking a PCR test every 7 days, with a negative result. 

Medically exempted individuals can get the green pass by taking a PCR test every 30 days with a negative result. 

User can quarantine for 5 days and wait for the QR code to turn Green automatically on day 6. This green QR code will stay valid for 30 days.

Or if the user is completely recovered within 5 days, then user can take 2 negative PCR tests and get a green QR code valid for 30 days. Please make sure the 2nd test is 24 hours later than the 1st test.

Follow the steps below to export the exemption certificate on the Alhosn app and submit it to the relevant authorities: 

  • Open your profile on the Alhosn app
  • Tap the three dots on the upper right side of the screen
  • Choose "Exemption Certificate"

Follow the steps below to obtain the green status on your EmSAT Pass:

For unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals:

  • A negative PCR test result should be obtained, valid for 7 days

For fully vaccinated with a booster dose after completing 6 months of the second dose:

  • A negative PCR test result must be obtained, valid for 30 days

For individuals who recently tested positive for Covid-19:

  • Individuals with a positive PCR test result should have two consecutive tests 24 hours apart with a negative result
  • Alternatively, individuals undergo a quarantine period of 5 days, where the pass will turn green automatically on day 6.

Follow the steps below to add a new pass on the Alhosn app:

  • Click on your name to access the home page featuring your profile photo and your PCR test and vaccination data
  • Swipe right until you have swiped all the existing passes
  • Click "Add Pass"
  • Select the pass you wish to add and click "Add Pass"

Follow these steps to remove a pass on the Alhosn app:

  • Swipe to the pass you want to remove
  • Tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen
  • Select "Remove Pass"

 

For residents: 

  • Get at least one dose of the covid-19 vaccination in the UAE
  • Not more than 365 days have passed since the last dose of the covid-19 vaccine was taken
  • The vaccination must be included in the list of approved vaccinations from the European Union

For citizens: 

  • Be fully vaccinated with a booster dose after 6 months from the second dose.
  • Alternatively, citizens can fill a disclaimer form on the “Travel Pass - Vaccination” to obtain the green status.

A negative PCR test result taken in the last 72 hours is required to get the green status on "Travel Pass - Test Result". 

Travel Pass – Recovery is only available to users who have recently tested positive for covid-19 and the exemption will be valid for 30 days. 

  • If you are fully vaccinated with a booster dose after six months from the second dose or have a medical exemption, a PCR test is required every 30 days to maintain the green status.
  • If you are partially or unvaccinated, a PCR should be taken every 7 days to maintain the green status.
  • If your are taking Evusheld medication, a PCR test is required every 7 days to maintain the green status.
  • If you recently tested positive for Covid-19, you will automatically get the Green Pass on Day 6 for 30 days, then a PCR is required every 30 days for the next 60 days to maintain the green status.

Follow the below steps to share your PCR test report on the Alhosn app: 

  • Click on your name to access your green pass
  • Click on the three dots on the top right of the screen that allows you to share the PCR test report and vaccination certificate
  • After selecting test report, there is an option to share the certificate to a number of channels

*The certificate features the logo of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and a QR code 

Your status turns green automatically on the 6th day for 30 days.  After that, please do a PCR every 30 days for the next 60 days. 

Follow the steps below to add the green pass as a widget on the Alhosn app: 

  • Open your profile on the Alhosn app
  • Click on the three dots on the top right side of the screen
  • Choose "Add Pass as Widget"
  • Follow the instructions on the screen

You will automatically get the Green Pass on Day 6 for 30 days, then a PCR is required every 30 days for the next 60 days to maintain the green status.

 

Children or individuals under the age of 16 will get the green status automatically without the need for a PCR test. 

To obtaining the green pass on the “Travel Pass – Vaccination" users must: 

  • For Residents:

At least one dose of any covid-19 vaccination must be taken in the UAE, in addition to ensuring that the last dose is not older than 365 days.  

  • For Citizens:

You should be fully vaccinated including the booster dose, as well as making sure that your last dose is not older than 365 days. 

  • For Tourists:

Vaccines taken abroad will not be reflected on Alhosn app “Travel Pass – Vaccination”.

To obtain the QR code for "Travel Pass - Test Result," a negative PCR test result taken within the last 72 hours is required.

The “ Travel Pass – Vaccination ” QR code does not appear if: 

  • It has been 365 days since the last dose of the covid-19 vaccine was received in the UAE.
  • In rare cases, the “ Travel Pass – Vaccination ” QR code may disappear because your vaccination records have been deleted by the health authorities.

Follow these steps to submit a disclaimer form on the Alhosn app: 

  • Swipe the screen to the left
  • Choose Add Travel Pass - Vaccination
  • Click Add Pass
  • Click on the option to fill out the disclaimer form that appears at the bottom of the screen 
     
    *Please note that this feature is only available to UAE nationals.

Visitors can now retrieve previous records related to COVID-19 information such as (Passes, and certificates) through Alhosn app.
