The UID is a number that you can find on your visa documentation. particularly for visitors using Alhosn. In the event that you are unable to locate this number, alternative options include utilizing the UAE ICP or Dubai's GDRFA services or reaching out to their respective authorities for assistance.

Kindly contact the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) to report your identity-related issue.

  • Download and open the Alhosn app
  • Select “Visitors” on the homepage
  • Select the "Register" option.
  • Fill in your details (make sure to use the same phone number you wish to register with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security for access).
  • Review your details, then click Continue.
  • Enter the 6-digit identification code sent to the previously registered phone number.
  • You can activate your profile after arriving in the UAE by taking a PCR test within 5 days of arrival and registering a valid phone number. (Note: This number will be used to receive the identification code required to complete the login to the Alhosn app).
  • After receiving the result of the PCR test through text messages, log in to the Alhosn application using the phone number registered with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security and the phone number registered with the examination centre.

To add a user on Alhosn app follow the steps below:

  • Go to "Add User" on the home screen
  • Next, enter EID/ UID for family members or employee

*Make sure that the person you are adding has the phone number you used to log in.

Log in to the Alhosn app using your Emirates ID and phone number 

  • Download and open the Alhosn app
  • Select “UAE Nationals & Residents” on the main page
  • Enter your Emirates ID number and your registered mobile phone number
  • Enter the one-time password sent to you in a text message

Log in to the Alhosn app using UAE PASS 

  • Download and open the Alhosn app
  • Select “UAE Nationals & Residents” on the main page
  • Choose to log in via "UAE PASS"
  • Continue to register on the Alhosn app

Log in to the Alhosn app using the unified number 

  • Download and open the Alhosn app
  • Select “UAE Nationals & Residents” on the main page
  • Enter the unified number and phone number
  • Continue to register on the Alhosn app

* The unified number can be obtained by visiting the GDRFAD website or by using the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security smart application. 

Make sure to use the correct number registered in the Alhosn app and make sure you are logging in from within the UAE. If the problem persists, contact the technical support team for the Alhosn app, through the website, or through the social media channels.

There are two methods to changing your phone number on the Alhosn app:  

When undertaking Covid-19 related testing, kindly register using your phone number. The new number will be automatically updated on the Alhosn app.  

Alternatively, the user's phone number can be changed using the ICP smart services or GDRFA's online services.  

There are two methods for changing your phone number on the Alhosn app, with two types of accounts: a basic account with a primary and/or secondary phone number and a UAE PASS account.

 

1. ICP or GDRFA Services:

Changing the phone number can be accomplished through ICP or GDRFA's online services. But we recommend upgrading your Alhosn account by logging in using UAE PASS.

 

2. Login with UAE PASS:

If you are logged into Alhosn app using UAE PASS and need to update your phone number, you must make this change within the UAE PASS app itself.
